The Commission seeks to appoint an individual to provide legal secretarial and administrative support services to the Market Conduct Divisional Manager and the Division so that supporting activities are coordinated, administered and processed efficiently and professionally.
Job Description

The Commission seeks to appoint an individual to provide legal secretarial and administrative support services to the Market Conduct Divisional Manager and the Division so that supporting activities are coordinated, administered and processed efficiently and professionally.

Recording and capturing case related information and decisions, providing accurate information for business plan and Annual Performance Plan and quarterly reporting, and assisting with information necessary for the auditing process; providing administrative support to investigation teams, and assisting litigation teams with investigation record management (including uploading of investigation records to the KMS).

 

(A starting annual total cost to company package up to R 623 980.03 negotiable)

Five-year fixed term contract, renewable

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all case management documents that have been approved are uploaded on the KMS
  • Ensuring that agenda and minutes relating to investigations are captured on the DCT and Reporting Templates
  • Assisting in collating all relevant case related information for APP and Quarterly reporting
  • Assisting investigation teams in arranging meetings
  • Take or transcribe minutes of consultations, meetings when required
  • Assist litigation teams in typing and copying of documents as and when may be required
  • Assist investigation teams with investigation records
  • Assist investigation teams with ensuring that the investigation record is uploaded to the KMS
  • Work in collaboration with the Divisional Manager’s PA to support the Manager
Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

We are looking for a dynamic and hard-working individual who meets the following requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Secretarial or Office Administration or an equivalent qualification, para-legal qualification.
  • At least 2-3 years relevant experience and be able to work as part of a team, work under pressure and have a strong administrative background.
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills will be an added advantage.
  • Required to demonstrate decision making, information monitoring, planning and organising, time management, gaining commitment and stress tolerance.
